What this site gives you
We collect known faults on used cars, with the source, a check before you buy, and official recalls. We write the text. A person reviews it before it goes out.
What the information does not replace
The site provides information, not a technical expert opinion. From that the following follow:
- A write-up is no substitute for a workshop inspection of the car, nor for a history check.
- A listed fault does not mean the particular car has it. A missing fault does not mean the model is fault-free.
- A cost range is indicative, in the currency of the source. It is not a quote.
- The buying decision is yours. We remain liable, as the law requires, for intentional harm, for gross negligence, and for harm to life, physical integrity and health.

We do not copy anyone else's text. Every write-up is our own wording, with the source marked. Official data (NHTSA, EU Safety Gate, KBA) comes from open sources. Generation photos stay on Wikimedia Commons, with the author and licence under the image.
