These terms cover the use of vinkodex.hu and vinkodex.com. The text stays available at this address. You can save it and print it.

We do not submit to a code of conduct.

We collect known faults on used cars, with the source, a check, and official recalls. We write the text. A person reviews it before it goes out.

The service is free. There is no account, no fee, no invoice and no order.

The 14-day right of withdrawal therefore does not apply: there is no contract to withdraw from. If a paid part starts later, we will publish its terms and the order steps before it opens.

You may use the text for your own car purchase. You may quote it if you mark the source.

You may not copy the collection as a whole, scrape it, or pass it on. Do not load the server with automated requests.

Our own wording is protected by copyright (Act LXXVI of 1999). The compilation of the database has separate protection. Images stay under their own licence, and the credit stands under the image.

The site provides information, not a technical expert opinion on a particular car. A write-up is no substitute for a workshop inspection or a history check.

A listed fault does not mean the car you are looking at has it. A missing fault does not mean the model is fault-free. A cost range is indicative, not a quote.

The buying decision is yours.

We are liable for intentional harm and for gross negligence. We are also liable for harm to life, physical integrity and health. Section 6:152 of the Civil Code does not allow those to be excluded.

For other harm, liability is limited only as far as the law allows. Against a consumer we do not exclude mandatory rights.

We are liable for our own unlawful content under Section 7(1) of Act CVIII of 2001.

We try to keep the site available. We do not promise uninterrupted, fault-free operation. Maintenance and outages happen.

A third-party ad may appear on the site. The ad is not our offer, and it does not create a contract with us. The privacy notice describes the data processing. Privacy

You can send a complaint to the email address in the imprint. We answer a consumer complaint on the merits within 30 days. Handling the complaint is free.

In a consumer dispute you may turn to a conciliation board. The board for your domicile or your residence is competent, and so is the board for our registered address.

The consumer protection authority is the government office of the capital and of the county. fogyasztovedelem.kormany.hu

Hungarian law governs. If the Hungarian and the English text differ, the Hungarian text governs.

If you are a consumer and you live in another EU member state, that state's mandatory rules still protect you.

We mark a change with a date at the top of the page. It applies from publication. Earlier use stays under the earlier text. A change does not take away a mandatory consumer right.
