Certain vehicles equipped with the DW10F Euro 6.4 engine may have a defect in the system that monitors urea consumption. The diagnostic test designed to detect problems such as low urea use or a blocked injector may not run frequently enough. This creates a risk that the vehicle’s emissions system will not be properly checked, and as a result, the vehicle may fail to meet the required emissions standards. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.

A hydrogen leak can occur between the tank’s outer cover and the protective lining. If the vehicle’s hydrogen sensors detect the leak while driving, the fuel-cell system will shut off. The vehicle will then only run in electric (battery) mode, with a very limited range of about 30 km and no ability to recharge hydrogen on board.
If the vehicle is parked, the hydrogen sensors do not operate. In this case, hydrogen could build up under the vehicle which increases the risk of hydrogen catching fire. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.

The malfunction indicator light (MIL) may fail to illuminate if the diagnostic system of the Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) and/or the diesel particulate filter (DPF) malfunctions after a fault code has appeared. This could cause the vehicle to operate without the required warning, and resulting in emissions above the regulatory limits. The product does not comply with the Regulation on type-approval of motor vehicles with respect to emissions from light passenger and commercial vehicles (Euro 5 and Euro 6) and on access to vehicle repair and maintenance information.

The software supposed to prevent the engine from stopping suddenly and to transmit data to customer service is not working properly. This can lead the ‘Ready’ mode to be unavailable after the vehicle has been started, to a propulsion's loss and to the engine suddenly cutting out while driving. This increases the risk of accidents and injuries. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
